It’s important to note that the duration of an immigration matter can vary significantly depending on various factors, including the specific visa category, the current workload of the Home Office or relevant authorities and any unforeseen circumstances that may arise during the process.  The average timescale is:

  • Immigration applications: 3-5 weeks.
  • Asylum applications: 4-12 months.
  • Judicial Review permission application: 2-4 months
  • Judicial Review granted: 3-6 months.

We will always endeavour to update you as your application / case progresses. The duration of immigration application varies and is dependent on the Home Office and Immigration Tribunal listing availability.

Please note we cannot guarantee how long the Home Office will take to process your application – Read the current processing times.
